Kevin Peter Jones is an active piano, drummer, percussionist and music instructor in the D.C. Metro area. He has over 30 years of teaching experience and a passion for sharing the gift of music with others. Kevin started his lifelong musical journey at the age of 8. He began his study on a traditional drum kit before branching out to piano and orchestral percussion through his participation in school orchestra and marching band. As a teen, Kevin attended Elk Grove High School in Chicago, which had an award-winning marching band and orchestra. He was a top All-State soloist during this time and decided to continue his study of music in college. Mr. Jones furthered his musical education at the prestigious Berklee College of Music and Georgetown University. During his undergraduate years, he gained exposure to many different styles and genres, and enjoyed an active performing and recording career alongside his studies. At the age of 21, Kevin decided to move to L.A.
